Loft Di Design Porta Romana/corso Lodi

Hey there, party people! Gather around 'cause I have a hot tip for you. If you want to live life like a celebrity, you gotta stay in the trendiest digs, right? Well, have I got the place for you! Recipe: Yummy Pasta a la Milanese

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound of pasta (we suggest your favorite shape, but fusilli or penne also work well)
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, chopped
  • 1 can of crushed tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • Grated Parmesan cheese (as much as your heart desires)

Instructions:

  1. Fill a large pot with water and bring to a boil. Add a pinch of salt to the water.
  2. Add the pasta to the boiling water and cook according to package instructions, until al dente.
  3. While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add the chopped onion to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes, until softened.
  5. Add the chopped garlic to the skillet and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.
  6. Stir in the can of crushed tomatoes, along with the sugar, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a simmer and let cook for 10 minutes.
  7. Once the pasta is cooked, drain and add it to the tomato sauce. Toss until the pasta is coated in the sauce.
  8. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and serve.
