Small Kitchen Modern Design With Island

Welcome to my little corner of culinary madness! Today we're going to take a look at some gorgeous kitchen islands that will make even your everyday grilled cheese sandwich feel fancy. First up, we have a sleek and modern kitchen island. Ooh, just look at that marble countertop! You could practically see your face in it... if you were willing to lean over that far, that is. And check out those bar stools! You'd feel like you were sipping cocktails in a fancy downtown bar even if you were just drinking water... or milk, if you're into that kind of thing. Next, we have an open-concept kitchen island that's just begging for a dinner party. I mean, can't you just picture yourself gathering around with a group of friends, all sipping wine and nibbling on appetizers while the chef (that's you, by the way) expertly chops veggies and Simon and Garfunkel plays softly in the background? Yeah, me too. Now, let's get to the good stuff: the recipes! We'll start with a classic that never goes out of style: spaghetti and meatballs.

Spaghetti and Meatballs

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound of ground beef
  • 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup of milk
  • 1/4 cup of grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 clove of garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 jar of your favorite pasta sauce
  • 1 pound of spaghetti

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  2. Roll the mixture into small balls, about the size of a golf ball.
  3. In a large saucepan, heat up the pasta sauce on medium heat.
  4. Add the meatballs to the sauce and cover. Let cook for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. While the meatballs are cooking, bring a pot of salted water to a boil.
  6. Add the spaghetti to the water and cook according to the package instructions.
  7. Drain the spaghetti and serve with the meatballs and sauce on top.
